GDPR – Request Processing
An international gaming and entertainment corporation chose Managed Discovery for their global GDPR request processing.
PROBLEM
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires a comprehensive solution to receive, assess, process and produce PII within a regulated timeline.
COLLABORATION
Managed Discovery’s GDPR request processing was specifically customized with members from the client’s legal and privacy teams.
SOLUTION
Handling all requests since May 25, 2018, a select review team was trained on the process and documentation so, with every new request, they are able to complete, QC and deliver a final product to the client.
RESULTS
Leveraging Managed Discovery’s Review Team Solutions, the client is completing each new request well within the regulated timeline.
Review Prioritization Workflow
Managed Discovery worked with our client’s General Counsel and their outside counsel to devise a processing and analytics strategy that reduced the opposing party’s dump-truck document production of roughly 600,000 records by over 80 percent, affirmatively characterizing the entire eliminated dataset. Integrating Brainspace analytics with our hosting and review platform, Managed Discovery’s project management team established a workflow for prioritizing review in order to meet rapidly approaching deadlines for motion filings.
